Oklahoma pilots Angela and Allison are flying in this year’s 2025 Air Race Classic as first time racers. We are officially Air Race Classic Racer #4. Our mission is to take the awesome opportunity to see the country, fly to airports we have never been, as well as meet some incredible women in aviation.
What is the Air Race Classic?
The Air Race Classic is the epicenter of women’s air racing. Overall, pilots range in age from 17 to 90 years old and come from a wide variety of backgrounds including students, teachers, doctors, airline pilots, business owners, professionals and air traffic controllers.
The annual air race is an all-women, daylight-only, cross-country air race where teams fly a defined course to a list of predefined airports, racing against their own handicap speed to see who can beat it by the greatest margin.
